Basic Scarf -Childs
Needles size 7 1/2
2.5 oz - 4.5 oz (75-125g) of 5-8 ply wool
This scarf can be made in two lengths Short and Long.
The picture above shows a scarf made with Cha Cha or Feather knitting Yarn
For a short scarf knit with 2.5 oz(75g) for a long scarf use 4.5 oz (125g)
Cast on 10 stitches and knit till desired length is reached.
using 20 20 cm lengths of wool tie into the end row of each end of the scarf. This will create tassels on the ends. (not shown in picture)
If you are using a Cha Cha Knitting Yarn keep in mind it will stretch both in length and in width.
LOVED IT! I am eleven too and could understand it. I didn't know how many stiches you needed to have for a scarf. So yeah.. I always have some random shape.
