Nail strengthening Balm
1 cup of Vaseline or petroleum jelly
2 tbs of Honey
2 tbs of Bees wax
6 tbs of Liquid glycerin (found at pharmacy or health food stores)
10 drops of Lemon essential oil
optional candle dye for tinting
This nail balm strengthens your nails by nourishing them with Bees wax. The honey and glycerin leave your cuticles feeling soft and replenished. The lemon oil helps to whiten your nails and acts as a mild anti-bacterial agent.
Mix all ingredients together and melt down over a low heat adding the essential oils just before pouring using a double boiler method.
Once it has melted and blended together pour into a suitable container such as a jar tub.
How long is the shelf life on this?

It is not necessary but it does effect the whitening of your nails. Yes this can be used as a hand cream but it is a little waxy. Try using one of our special hand cream recipes instead.
