This jewelry making project shows you how to make a wire wrappend pendant using a collected stone, rock or gem.
Start by cutting around 1/2 yard (1/2 metre) or wire with your pliers.
To begin form a small loop at one end of the wire, this will be used to hook the frist wrap of wire into place and act as a knot. crimp the wire to keep it tight.
Then randomly wrap your wire around your stone until you get a desired effect.
Leave around 1 inch of wire (2.5cm) to form a eye loop at the top for your chain.
Before you finish take your last piece and tuck it under the other wires at the back, this will stop your stone from unraveling. See picture for example.
If your wire is not sitting well on your stone, you could add some glue to keep it in place on the back of the stone where it can not be seen.
If you don't like it, you don't have to call it ugly... such a bitter person to say that... To actually rate the project: I think the idea was to make it very simple and rudimentary, and there exactly lies it's uniqueness.
The only thing good about thi wrapping is the hint to make a loop to "knot" your wire with. Other than that, this is an UGLY wrap on a beautiful stone
